The American Express Starwood Preferred Card is now offering 30,000 bonus points when new card members charge $1,000 in the first three months. You have to hurry because this offers has just been extended but it ends July 31, 2010. After you spend your first $1,000, you will then earn one point for each dollar spent on eligible purchases. Eligible purchases do not include fees, cash advances, and balance transfers. Typically the card offers 10,000 bonus points for new customers.
The Starwood Preferred Guest Program is one of the most rewarding travel programs out there today. The program offers anywhere from stays at 5-star hotels to free air travel on just about any airline. The programs has become known for its first class traveling style.
A few months earlier, Resource Nation published a blog about Facebook’s Open Graph initiative on how it could possibly be intrusive to people’s privacy. Regardless of how you view the subject, the program has continued and has witnessed a great deal of success for those who employ the system to their sites.
When Facebook released the program, other websites were able to install “like” buttons on their own site, and when a Facebook user clicked that button, the action would appear in their newsfeed for their friends to see. A great marketing tactic that employs word-of-mouth strategies, the Open Graph initiative has added new features that include thumbnails, and the ability to add comments to the posts. Giving the Open Graph program even more appeal and versatility in the eyes of some.
If there has been any question as to whether or not Facebook’s initiative is working, this data should put down any doubts.

While listening to the radio on the way to work on Friday morning, I heard about the worlds strongest beer. It is called “The End of History Beer” and is made by Scottish BrewDog brewery, this beer has a 55% alcohol content (not 5.5…55%!) and is sold at a great bargain price of about 500 pounds! But that is not all, this beer has been put inside dead stoats, squirrels and a hare. The best part was that the beer was sold out within a day! I am not sure what part of this is the most shocking to me, the 55% alcohol content beer, the 500 pound price tag, the fact that it is inside a dead animal or that it sold out within a day? Would you try it? If so out of what animal would you drink?
